We've been giving out the blog cards like crazy & it's creating quite a buzz around town. People ask us about the trip - "where you going? what are you packing? are you guys nuts? etc - on a regular basis & we are happy to share. Hal is keeping on us to blog more regularly, so you can blame him for our ramblings. We're looking forward to sharing our adventures on the road & sure we won't run out of things to amuse you with. We're looking forward to your responses and suggestions on how to survive this trip once we've arrived at our destination & encourage open dialogue. We expect some of you to know someone locally we can contact (six degrees of separation and all) when we get to ????? that might help us out. Nothing like traveling vicariously through your friends! I'm excited for you two - exactly when do you get to the airport? Did you get to specify hot or cold climate or anything?? Rick said he saw something on a morning show about a couple doing this back in New York - could become a worldwide event!

ReplyDeleteKaren, it's 36 hrs. to go and the only thing we know for sure is that we leave from LAX at 7:30am Sat and return sometime Wed. The New York thing is only a blip on the radar....Susan and I are trendsetters Baby, I said trendsetters livin' on the edge.
